Venkat has 18+ years of experience in Portfolio, Program & Project management across Online & Mobile Advertising, Product Development, Product Engineering, Ad Networks, Platforms and IT Services. As a Coach and practitioner over 10+ years in Agile, Venkat has led process formulation and adoption across large enterprises. He is proficient in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Lean Kanban and XP. Venkat is currently with Cognizant Abu Dhabi, working for a premier airline in their digital and agile transformation. His prior roles were at Sidra Qatar, InMobi @ Bangalore managing a large portfolio of 100+ releases (of varying duration) across 15+ teams using Agile Scrum & Kanban through a framework (similar to SAFe) that has been time tested. Venkat has worked with AOL (India) and MindTree Ltd., delivering products and services using Agile methodologies (Scrum & XP). Venkat holds many certifications such as SAFe Agilist, Managing Benefits (MB), MoP (Management of Portfolios), PMI-RMP, PMP, PMI-ACP (Agile), CSM and CSP (Scrum certified professional) and a strong believer in continuing education. He also has certifications in IT Governance (CGEIT and COBIT5) & is an ITIL V3 Foundation certified professional. Venkat has been a volunteer faculty at PMI Bangalore Chapter for over 2+ years.
